Default Question about Transmission 4L80E

vandura 95 4x4 The back of the 4L80E has a QUGLEY adapter between Transmission and Transfer. In Transmission there is a hole in the back and from there comes oil to the adapter. Is it possible to shut the hole or must it remain open?

Only Quigley know for sure, but I don't think they would put it there for decoration.

Thanks for your response, I'm not talking about the Quigley adapter, I'm talking about the hole in the back of the gearbox

I understood that the hole is in the transmission.

The hole is sending fluid to the adapter, correct?

Is it lubricating something? Probably the shaft. If yes, then of course you need it.
