My 2011 rear door hinge is worn at the stop so now the door trim is hitting the quarter panel. The hinge seems to possibly be welded on and not very serviceable. Any ideas on how to fix this? doortrim to quarter crash area tip of stop missing some material

Hi, I can't figure out the door picture, please take another one further away so we can see some context. Where is the stop missing material?
I was trying to figure this out looking at Joe's van. I couldn't determine the part that is 'missing' a chunk from memory on his van. It looked like his hinges were exactly the same. Are you just missing paint, and not a chunk of metal? To determine if the hinging assembly can be removed from the door, you have to take off the outside corner. A couple of metal screws and it's off. Then you can see the whole assembly. The hinges both bolt to the van body. I would start by removing that outside panel that is hitting. Take it off and look at the whole assembly to see how everything is built.
Yes, that's the stop point that appears to be smashed or missing some material.
I did take the outer trim piece off but no visible fasteners to remove the hinge. I suspect it's welded to the door and not very serviceable.
