I have a 2009 1500 and there are paint scrapes where the doors have hit the body when opened too hard or the wind hits the doors and slams them full open.

I've seen a number of other Express vans with the same damage. This is a bad design and I don't see a way to correct it. Is there a fix out there? A hinge mod or even an aftermarket check strap? I want to fix the paint damage but if I can't fix the problem, it's going to keep occurring.
