Rear view camera choice
#11
I would like to get a unit that allows viewing while driving as well as backing up. also a wireless or wired option. Is there a unit available that also doubles as a GPS with the beforehand options available?

I haven't wired mine in yet. It's going in to a new head unit with a video display. On my previous setup in my Avalanche, the stereo was tripped by going into reverse to switch the input automatically. I wired the camera in to be constant on. Then I could manually switch inputs if I wanted to see out of the rearview camera while in motion. I'll get mine all wired in this weekend, but I assume that's the way it will work in the van as well. Haven't actually taken all the components out of the box yet.

The idea was to py me 80% of the price of a new one. This is new, but it was installed for 4 months so it's not "new". I never hooked it up so I don't know if it sees the hitch. I think I am selling my factory mirror too if you are interested in that as well.
