At least I do not have any of the electrical connections that AK5 seems to list. Maybe because I have C99, half of AK5 's wiring gets deleted.

If anyone has it installed and operating in their truck as per factory, I would love to know more details. Is there a switch? Is it just a BCM update? Etc.
Yes frontal airbags, but that's not what AK5 lists as. I think because I have option C99 it cancels AK5 out. At least the full version of AK5. As per the schematics on this page. I grey out the options that I do not have for easier reference.

From other sources people have stated it simply means airbags. If you look at the actual schematics, it seems to have more to do with seatbelts, indicators and pretensioners than the actual airbags. Of course that's just my interpretation. AK5 probably means Airbags and AK0/C99, depending which you have, likely changes that AK5 build option.

So, in thinking about it, I'm thinking of getting a junkyard throttle pedal assy, and wiring it in with a switch. These days it's all control by wire, and while I haven't looked, it's likely only two conductors into the data bus. I don't have it in me today, but I'll look into it soon.

That's at least three of us that want high idle. I was only trying to encourage you to book the appointment with the dealer so we could get an idea on the cost and the hassle. Your idea though seems sound.. unless someone flips the switch while the truck is in gear.
I could go to the trouble of using a relay, in conjunction with either the parking brake or neutral/park signal lines. Unless those are on the data bus, which seems unlikely, since those are at the radio, for video purposes.
