Default remove the exterior mirror housing

Does anyone have instruction to replace the exterior mirror housing? I tried to pried off the interior cover by the door to expose the three screws but I could not pop out the cover. I was able to pop out most of the cover but there was one location where no matter how hard I pulled off the cover, the cover wouldn't dislodge. The cover actually bent with my force . I also tried to "lift" out the cover but that didn't work either. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

What year and model is the van? You are talking about the side mirror? It should just have a plastic cover that pops in/out from the inside of the vehicle. There should be two nuts to remove to get the whole mirror assembly off the door.

Thanks Stewdogg. That is the idea ...

I found how to do it ... it is specifically for an '07 but I think it applies to all newer Express (04+). First pop out the top portion of the cover on the interior side of the door, then slide it upward to totally remove the cover (one might need to use a little force here), then there are three screws that hold the entire mirror housing to the door. That's it!
