Default Remove heads '96 Chevy Express Van

I'm in the process of removing the heads on my '96 Chevy Express, and am having trouble with the two aluminum brackets that hold the alternator and AC compressor. From what I've read, the alt. bracket may not have to be removed, but the Hanes manual says that the AC bracket needs to go. I've taken out two long bolts and one nut that goes to a stud. I don't see anything else to remove, but this bracket has the power steering pump attached below the AC, and I'm wondering if the power steering pump has to have something undone from underneath.

Anyone familiar with one of these?

in order to remove the heads EVERYTHING has to be unbolted from the side of the head. Haynes manuals arent that good. There is probably a pass through stud which links that bracket to the side of the head.
