Default right window won't move..up or down-power

My right window stated acting up..then quit working in the up position(whew)...what is the proper trouble shooting order.....ohh....
yes they are power windows...94 G20 Van

check the fuse, then pull out the switch and test for power, it could be either the switch or the window motor itself. if the fuse is good,pull the switch and check for power, if there is power, then jump the wires (black is ground and red is positive) it will take 2 wires to jump the 4 of them if nothing happens the switch is good and the motor is shot, if it does move, the switch is bad

I just bypassed checking the switch when I saw the two wires going to the motor...There is 12 volts to the window motor (Blue and Black wire)..does this solve this??
