Default rims and tires

Have 15 x 8 rims with 235 75 15 tires
Want to go bigger on rims and tires anyone know how big I can go with out any rubbing issues 2002 express 1500

you are missing information....What is the stock wheel back spacing?

suppose your new wheel has exactly the same backspacing as your old wheel...and you stick with 8" wide...then your tires are 28.9" tall...you can easily get a 30" tire under there so you could run 245/70/16 or 255/65/17


The thing to remember is that you need a Light-Truck Tire (10plys)....if you don't run a truck tire you'll be lucky to get 25000 miles on them...


I run Cooper Discoverer LT265-70-16 on American Racing Rims....I like the look and they are fairly quiet to run.

The backspacing on my 2016 was 4.75"

Also check the tires size calculator on 1010tires.com. You need to stay close to the outer circumference of your stock size.
