based on one person's story? They didn't get big by producing junk.

 

If you listen to that story they royally screwed him. He wouldnt spend the time to make that long video if there wasnt some truth there.

 

But it's just ONE guy. If everybody else was happy, then he only represents 0.001% of customers. In other words, this video amounts to S-F-A.
Maybe he's lying and has a personal vendetta. Maybe his ex works there. Maybe he's an idiot. Or maybe he just had some bad luck, or it was the result of an oversight.
You should take internet advice with a grain of salt. You don't believe EVERYTHING you hear, do you?

I am... So far the front is off. I did all the rest (manifold, heads...) before already.
Isn't that bad.. Less than expected...

 

Are you going to swap with a used OE engine or a reman? If reman, which brand?

 

I am rebuilding the original one. I am from germany and if I compare all cost's it is much cheaper to rebuild.
As far as I see, I have just to replace the cam bearings (low oil pressure) and new piston rings.
Will see if I inspect all parts.
