Daughter has a 1996 K1500 4wd AT truck with 4.3 vortec. Truck in good shape but has heavy knock in engine. Need to replace engine. What 4.3 years will fit? Found a new marine 4.3 long block for a good price. Will this fit if swap over the FI units? Will sensors bolt up?
Nice truck, broke down in Evansville Indiana, anyone know a reputable stand up person to do the swap for me? Know a good source for a used or rebuilt engine in this locale? Engine knocks too badly to attempt 300 mile drive back to Ohio. Appreciate all thoughts and input here.
