Shocks AND coil overs?? Air bags??
I have 24ft Tioga Arrow Motor home on a Chevy 3500 Savana with 86,K miles on it and I want to upgrade my suspension. Question is... Can I put coil overs on my front end with the the spring? will it help ride?-- And upgrading my leaf springs, would airbags help my ride? IN Arlington DFW if y'all know the place to go for this work.
So I can put the shocks on with the spring? I've rebuilt engines and built homes, and Im a mobile welder. I Just have not messed with shocks or leaf spring. Im still learning. Do you think I could do it in my shop by myself?
Replacing shocks on these is very simple. The only part that takes a bit of time is getting the nut off the top stud on the front. Rest is just simple bolts. You don't even need to jack it up or take the wheels off.
Edit: I can't remember if I used this tool or not. You can do it with a ratcheting wrench. https://www.rockauto.com/en/tools/su...t+tool,1001086
