Show off your van...pictures please!
I already explained why it's there. It provides a cellular link for the Onstar help and car phone, and satellite link for navigation and other locations services.
Onstar provides a number of things like emergency services, navigation, diagnostics and other things. You can find out all about it on their website: onstar.com
Because the roof is curved, the tip of the antenna actually sits at the same height as the tallest point on the van.

Like I said before my cell phone has no problem working in a car so I don't know why I need a separate antenna for a phone to work. To me the look of a little Black Finn on the roof of the van looks stupid.
The first thing I'd do is take it off. It's not needed where I'm at. I don't need navigation a separate car phone, emergency services ect. I live in a place where it's a hour from one side to the other.
So I just picked up a set of these awesome Silverado wheels on CL for my 3500 motovan and was wondering a couple of things:
what sized tires are you running?
what if anything did you do to lift/ level your 3500?
what did you do to them to make them gray?
your van looks great btw,
TIA
