I all, glad to of found this forum. Cool to find some fellow G series fans.

My first van is 1999 G3500 work truck that I still have. Second was a 95 G30 6.5 diesel, extended. It was like a frieght train and was my favorite. Sold it 3 years ago.

Just purchased a 92 G30 dually... check out the pics...

Hi all,

New here. here is a few shots of my 2009 2500 Express extended. Pulls great. Mainly use for work but works great for hauling my snowmobile, Quad and Harley! Sh'e been all over the county already. Next trip is hauling 1 sled in the back and a 2 place snowmobile trailer to Idaho in February. Buying some new tires for her so I decided to look for some new rims. Looking for different pics of express vans with aftermarket rims...

Default My 1984 G20

Hi,

I'm new here on the forum. Here's a pic of my 1984 Chevy G20 Van. I've owned it since 1992 and put a 350 motor in it around 1995. I really haven't driven it much in the past 10 years but it has been garaged the entire time. It runs great but just needs a complete brake job to get it back on the road.

I've had a couple of new cars so my van has been sitting a while. Maybe joining this forum will give me some motivation and ideas. Thanks for looking.

Peace to you all.

Ray

This is the only photo I have of my "hand me down" 1991 GMC Vandura 2500 camper conversion. This is in front of my parents' house in Ontario when I picked it up, shortly before heading home to Ohio.

Nowadays it mostly tows a 5,000 pound trail truck on a 2,000 pound trailer. Still have to install a tranny cooler. Add in the weight of the van itself (dry curb weight is a tad under 8,700 pounds, fully loaded for camping with my daughter and myself on board it pushes 9,500) and it's anybody's guess what will blow up first: the 700R4 transmission, or the 10 bolt rear axle.

Here's my 94 G10, named "Bubbles d'Van". She came from the factory with no rear seats, and the previous owners added a middle seat from a Ford. I'm on the lookout for a red/tweed interior from a late (93-95?) Beauville, and then it'll be time for an engine swap.

The fridge was the last major appliance needing installed so now I can shift to the finishing of the interior w/Beetle Killed Pine tongue & groove.

I found an early '70's vintage Genset on Craigslist. It's literally brand new. The guy bought it as B/U power system for his home and never used it. Never even put fuel in it. He started it for me and I watched the exhaust go from green to gold/brown as it ran. It will go into my car trailer rather than in the bus...

Solar system purchased but not installed yet. If it ever stops snowing that's the next item to get working on. ...

My racing season starts this weekend so I get to see how everything works. Overnight temps are forecasted to be in the low 30's so the furnace will be a welcome addition.

Really cool G10. Don't see very many of them on the road, especially in the shorty body style. The first mini-van.
