Side door actuator switch an hard to close & loose ring terminal at corner of fuse box
My new van 04 chevy express 3500 side door electric actuator hasn’t worked since day one.
Been lucky to reach in side door an lock/unlock. So it must be partially physically connected.
1.there are is yellow paint on the 2 switch buttons at door, these yellow paint marks are being transferred to the receiving end at door to the side of receiving switch. Is my switch misaligned?
like should this yellowbe transfered to the circle on reciever end?
Can I test the receiver w/ 12VDC?
2nd issue Door is hard to close like the hinges are completely out of grease.
I know some ppl drill two holes in these hinges and shoot wd40 inside hinge.
2. what is the hole in middle of side of hinge? Maybe a grease hole?
3.how to lube the side door hinge? Thanks for advice.

so will the door strape wear out? the door is hard to shut/open? still waiting on answer to the actuator being aglined properly, I don't believe I hear it clicking like all the other locks.can a junk yard actuator be tested w/ 12VDC thanks
I sparyed the outside hinges w/ white litium grease will this grease penatrate onto the hinge pin?
cleaned the contacts on door actuator still can't hear it click like the other locks. since I hear the other locks click I would think the side problem door fuse is same for other doors so fuse is good, or is the side door separate?
can the actuator be tested w/ 12VDC if so how?
thanks
