Steering wheel compatibility?

I’ve heard of people swapping steering wheels to get radio and cruise control buttons. Obviously another Express steering wheel would work but what about Silverado/tahoe/Escalade/etc? Anyone tried this?

Depends how the controls work. Probably limited to a short year range for it to be compatible.

steering wheel change

the express van and the silverado steering wheels are not interchangable.i learned the hard way!!!!
