Default Turn signal only work when they want to?

So same van an express 2500 v6 has a problem where the turn signals only work intermittedly.

Sometimes they will cut on and then cut out, then comeback on...if they feel like it, sometimes they will work fine, other times when you cut them on they will work then cut off cut back on. They do blink VERY fast which is GM way of letting us know there is something wrong with the lighting. Is this a electrical shortage or maybe something as simple as changing the bulbs?

brake lights and all other lights work fine

Check the bulbs, fast flashing is a sign burnout bulb. If they are intermittent, (I assume this is a 2000 model), probably worn switch.

Yes 2000 base model discommssioned bellsouth/at&t van..

From what I can tell every bulb works good, sometimes when i hit the switch the lights wont come on at all, for like the whole ride and maybe the next one after. Could it be flasher module?

Ok so I switched out the turning signal switch.

Still seems to be doing the same thing bulbs blinkers flashing somewhaf fast then returning to regular speed.

ALL lights work could it still be the bulbs?

I had a similar issue with my van. Sometimes the turn signal worked as supposed to and then it just dit not do anything at all. After replacing the turn signal relay it was fine again.
