I ran across a 2015 Express passenger van with an unusual seating setup. The fabric looks factory, but I have never seen this before - both the layout and the integrated seat belts.

Can someone enlighten me: was this a factory option or is this aftermarket?

Aftermarket, ride-share and shuttle upfit. We bought a used 2016 with a similar seating arrangement. The typical seat rails are replaced with a steel subfloor by the upfitter (ours was by Adrian Steel) and the seats bolt directly to it. We love having a high-back seat with integrated 3-point seat belt for each of our kids. The foam in the seat is a little lack-luster (a bit flat for my taste), but I think they are still more comfortable than the stock benches.
