What is this?

I have a 2015 Chevy express 12 passenger van LS. I am trying to install 7 pin conecter. I ran across this plug under rear drivers side bumper, what is it?

Believe it is for the rear sensor option

I second that. I believe it is the wiring harness for the Rear Object Sensors. It's a worthwhile option to have. I miss it. Mine is disconnected at the moment.

Yep that's exactly what it is. ^^^^^^^ Rear object detection (RPO UD7) is optional on your vehicle. Apparently yours is not equipped with rear object detection. So the connector is plugged.
