Hey my issue is one of my fuel lines under the injector housing were the large bolt screws in leaks, the bolt keeps turning like it's stripped but then some parts around it (I am guessing it's Cast Iron) with a bit of the threading broke off. Here are some pictures to help with what I am referring too

On the top of the fuel line there, that is were the cast iron came from, the metal that shattered off was white on the inside. I know this means I need to replace it, but I have no idea what it's called.

Throttle body injector pod. Its cast aluminum and easily stripped if over tightened. That steel part should have seals on the end and doesn't require bottoming the threads all the way to seal. Sounds like somebody tried to tighten it to seal a leak instead of replacing the seals resulting it being stripped.
Good news is that injector pod is the exact same for 2.8, 4.3, 5.0, 5.7, and 454 engines. You just gotta use the regulator and injectors out of the screwed up part.

The throttle body is discontinued from GM and Delco. We can get this for you if you call us 888-282-5545. You are looking in the neighborhood of $600.00.
This retailed over 1600.00 from the dealer when they were available.
