Trying to locate the chime sensor for 2008 Express 3500. Started chiming while driving. It's constant on some days then once for twice the next. Use it for transporting workers and the chiming is hair raising. Can't find the reason for it so just going to unplug it until I figure out the darn thing. Thanks in advance for your input.

There's no such thing as a chime sensor. Nobody needs to sense a chime.
You need to find out what is causing the vehicle to chime. Either it thinks the door is open (which would be a door latch switch), or it thinks a seatbelt is unbuckled (which would be a seat belt switch), etc.
Usually there is a warning light on the instrument panel telling you the reason.

I don't know what year it started but at least as of 2015 the chime and blinker noise is played through the driver's door speaker.

if its comming on because of the brakes,,,your vehicle might be equipped with the pressure safety switch for the brakes ,the connector is located below the brake master cylinder
