Hi ,
I have chevy optra. Y'day while reversing it for parking I saw white smoke coming out from my hood and sensed burning smell (rubber). I opened up hood and didn't find anything abnormal except Coolant tank being almost empty and some wetness on body of engine.
Would like to know possible reason for this problem. Appreciate quick help from community.

 

Sounds like your serpentine belt may have been burning. Try taking it off and check for a locked pulley!
