Arrow Forum Outage

The forum just experienced a short outage and there may be more throughout the the afternoon and evening. Nothing to panic about, the tech team was more than likely addressing some script problems that users have experienced lately.

weve been having some issues at other sites with logins and such...they seem to be issues that affect all of my sites, so they were doing some work on that. how has the search function been here?

The search has been working ok for me though I have noticed the issue with having to log back in while searching.

I had a few members on MCF (one of CF's sister sites) that had log in problems recently. Once they deleted their temporary internet files and cookies from their computer, they were fine. Maybe something to try?

Yeah.. thats pretty much a fix-all if its cookie-related.
The problem we have been having causes the cookie errors.

My hypothesis:
A lot of times, if you notice the address bar, it will say (chevroletforum.com/forum/index.php) on the home screenand it should say (www.chevroletforum.com/forum). Most browser view the missing (www) & addition of (/index.php) in address as a whole different site, so it catalogues your cookies as such.
The end result is you will no longer be logged in if this happens.
