04 tahoe
i bought an 04 tahoe and just discoverd a weird noise vibration, feels like its coming form the front ( like im running over those wake you up strips on the side of the highway). it is not constant it comes and goes at speeds over 50, a few seconds of vibration then none for a while wondering what it could be? kind loud but not at a certian speed or turning or anything. feels kind of like a stutter i thought maybe injector problem or fuel pump issue, the dealer said that have to look at at and seeing is there no telling when the culprit will show its face again i dont see the point in waisting the money to see if they might catch it.
maybe wheel bearing going bad i have no clue.
also my guage cluster(speedo) is acting jumpy today it said i was going 5mph but i was really going like 50, only happend breifly one time. but its been jumpy for awhile, dealer said i have toreplace it. my question for thatis is the actual mileage recorderd in there like woulda service tech have to reprogram a new cluster to read my actual miles?

I don't know about the vibration, but my 2003 Suburban had a similar problem with speedometer. It was reading 2x the speed I was travelling. GM replaced it free of charge on a service bullitin (this was done last month and the truck is out of warranty). I don't think the odometer was effected and they programed the new one with the correct reading. My bother's 04 GMC Sierra also had the same problem, it was also replaced for free.
the speedo gets all jumpy when i get the vibration like the car is trying to match what the speedo says i found out last night that its off by 5 mph if not more. it does it more when its cold out.
