05 Trailblazer no start condition
hi, new member to this forum but love going through previous posts on this forum. Recently I have a problem starting my blazer.Turn key and nothing ! I've had this thrown to other forums but it only ran me in circles. I'll list all symptons and things that were good below. Would love to "*****" some brains out there before I bite the bullet and send it to the dealership.
- Turn key and nothing happens(not even a click), fuel guage is reading empty on a tank over half full
- I can't hear the fuel pump run when I turn on key
-battery load tested & good
-starter circuit good , relay good, getting power to relays&starter but I guess no ground from PCM to activate relay
-all fuses checked and all good (front & rear panel)
-did 15 min relearn procedure but passlock symbol won't go out. Does go out after couple second at beginning but comes back on after approx 15 seconds then never goes out
- all wires plugged into ignition switch tested correct in every key position
- crosses starter selenoid and starter spins freely
-did notice I have no power to my add on trailer brake module (fuse good)
the wires to this module did get disconnected and were touching each other before I noticed this problem
I guess my main question is could this be a passlock problem and can passlock totally keep my fuel pump from turning on? PCM, BCM possibly going bad? Any way to check something I missed?
I love my blazer with exception of this lingering GM start problem I continue to see on many forums.
I could use any input, things to check , something I missed or any ideas to troubleshoot this problem.
Thanks a bunch!

Still hadn't got any responses but would like to throw one more question out there. Does the fuel pump normally come on for a few seconds even if there could be "passlock problems" ?
Thanks
Thanks
Should you take your vehicle into the dealership could you keep me up to date on any developments or anything that happens as a result? Thank you for your time.

Ok folks finally got fed up and sent it to my local Chevy dealership. For the sake of helping some one else I'll post the exact worksheet-
- open in the positive voltage circuit #440 to PCM
- Check dtc's communication to PCM. Test all power and ground to PCM, no voltage found at PCM . Test circuit #440. Found circuit open. Trace circuit to find open. Found open in the main engine harness. Repaired circuit #440. Vehicle now starting and communicating with PCM.
The service writer wasn't much help in explaining it over the phone but I think he mentioned that the Passlock module wasn't getting power from this circuit (#440). He said there were no stored or current codes when they first hooked it up. Again I hope this helps someone else and I thank those who replied to my problem!!
