Default (!Sorry final decision/post)! 383 BUILD!!

Ok so after much discussion and some knowledge alot of mind changes and alittle luck I have come across a 350 4 bolt main bored .040 over and what i believe is a 3.75 stroke, which i suppose is a 385 stroker when assembled with 5.7 rods the correct crank and pistons. correct me if im wrong which i may very well be. Im going to pick the block up tomorrow and its supposed to be ready to build, just wondering if theres any turn and run things to look out for block wise.rough or warped cylinder walls? any1 think of anything?

Very true, I can hone a cylinder as well as the next guy, a little sanding and some paint and there you go.

Yeah i have the block sitting next to me but i cant get my usb port to work correctly at the moment. The guy i bought it from is a good old school type of guy and everything about the block seems good. I will try and get pics asap.
350 Bare block bored .040 over and stroker clearenced. (clearence is on the bottom of the cylinder walls)
casting number-40 GM 3970010....350...69-80...2 or 4.
68 - 79 350 & 327 145-375 2&4-Bolt mains/Truck/Hi Perf
Mine is 4 bolt mains.
There is also 010 printed were the timing cover would go followed by G32 and also by were the oil pan would go.
The block is fresh out of the machine shop has been bored .040 over and stroker clearenced. New freeze plugs.
main caps numbers- starting at the timing. 3951 then below looks like gm116. the next one is 3412 gm137 then 3412 gm140 then 3412 gm141. On the trans end of the block is a H25 then a 01. there is a 010 printed on both sides of the block with a large S beside the 010.
