Default 1949 C3100 Axle Swap
Hey, I'm new to the forum and just got a 1949 C3100. I have it down to the frame and about to put an independent front suspension in and need to locate a rear axle assembly. Can anyone tell me what Chevrolet axle will work in a 49? The current axle is a 62" and a 62"-64" will work but I don't know what other Chevrolets use that axle. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
