Hi all. I'm hoping this is the correct place for a new thread about my old truck. I have a 1955 second series 3800 body that I have stripped down and am putting on my 1996 chassis. Aside from the physical swap, an unknown for me is the electrical transition from the 96 dash controls to the dash of the 55 truck. Also, I was hoping to use the 96 air conditioner/heater/blower unit but it looks a little too big for the 55 body. Does anyone know of any specific companies that offer body swap items/advice for a 55 to 96 swap? Any help is much appreciated.
