Default 1962 327 motor info

I recently grabbed a 327 motor for $100. It is a complete longblock and has been sitting in a garage uncovered for +/-15 years.
VIN Code: none
Engine Code: T0626S
Block Casting Code: 3782870
(other numbers on the rear end of the block: 226 HT10 870)

I'm pretty sure it's a 327, Tonawanda Plant, June 26, and I think the "S" means 1962. There was no VIN stamp on the block near the engine code.

What I'm wondering is what the application was, cars it may have been in, and the likely HP rating it might've had.

Thanks in advance,
Doink

Probably in am Impala. You can google the block code, however you need the head code to determine what HP (if it was a matched set) was.

Default head code

Is the head code stamped or cast and where would I find it?
