Default 1965 chevy C-10 brake compatability

Doing a restoration and want to eventually upgrade to front wheel or possibly four wheel disc brakes. LMC sells a spindle kit but it carries a price tag I would like to avoid. What year trucks will have spindles that will bolt on. As far as the rear end will it have to be changed out ? I know there is a way to retro fit it but again if the price is cheaper or the same to just change to a different rear end may as well go with a gearing of my choice. Thanks for any tips.

Talk to a large auto recycler in your area. They have interchange manuals to tell what fits what from what. You could also save a bundle on the parts purchase; they generally give you a guarantee their parts fit and are in working condition at the time of installation.
