Default 1990 Chevy Fuel Delivery Question

I have a 1990 C1500 2WD pickup with only 150K miles on it. It does have the 350CI engine. It has been a good truck and I enjoy driving it. The question I would like to ask is this:

When driving the truck, the engine responds well specifically when the engine is under a load. When pulling up to a stop sign, pulling into my driveway, or any other condition where my foot is off of the accelerator, the engine will die. Sometimes the engine will re-fire and other times it may not. I have had to keep my foot lightly on the accelerator at stop signs so the engine doesn't die.

Could this be a sign of a fuel pump going bad?

Any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Its more likely that the IAC(idle air control valve) is going bad.
Try cleaning the throttle body out and replacing the IAC.. hopefully that will fix this problem.
