Default fuel gauge problems

2003 fuel gauge reads empty all the time i replaced both fuel pumps

Try the sending Unit.

Hey davehardman,

Welcome to the Chevy Forums.

Check the fuses.

Hows the big three? The negative and the firewall/engine ground strap could be the culprits.

Also check the ground and wiring to the sending unit from the dash.

Default Blazer fuel gauge problem.

My fuel gauge in 2000 Blazer is bouncing all over the place. Any ideas on what i can do??????

There was a problem with the gauges in GM cars from 2003 to 2006. The stepper motors that control the gauges were bad and had to be replaced. This might be your problem.
