1997 2500 5.7 Backfire
I have a 1997 2500 silverado 4x4 that backfires when I have the MAF plugged in, but runs fine when its unplugged. I bought a new one and installed it today and it still backfires when under load. What could be my problem?

Your fuel-air ratio is either too lean or rich. Is your air cleaner new, or is it dirty? Check the entire hose system to the throttle body for any cracks or leaks. Did you get any Codes?
