I'm hoping one of you guys can help me find a part.

Recently I've started redoing the interior of a 97 Chevy Express van and it is missing the driver and passenger interior door pull handles.
I'd like to find the actual OEM or similar handles since I do not have adequate woodworking tools to make decent replacements by hand.
These handles seem impossible to find and I would really appreciate any help even if it is just a nudge in the right direction.

I have found some on ebay, but they run over $100 each. There has to be something else out there.

$100 is extremely high for door handles. Check Rockauto.com or any of the other parts suppliers. Rockauto has them ranging from $9.05 to $26.79 each.

 

I should have added that people also refer to them as the arm rest.
They look like the photo below and without them on the door you have to pull the door shut with the latch.
The other photo is what it should look like on the door. We can't pull the door shut with the lower storage pockets because the top of them is by your feet when sitting in the van.
