1997 suburban k2500 4L80E transmission problems.
So 3years ago I got my transmission fixed and it has been working like a champ. When I got it back it always had some kind of rotating noise that drove me crazy like a belt squeal but at the back of the motor. Change out the distributor and it would go away for a little bit. But recently in a forward gear the transmission would whine alittle. The major problem I have though is in reverse depending on how hard I'm on the gas it's like the transmission jumps out of gear and then makes one hell of a chattering noise more throttle more violet it bangs. Can anyone help me. I'm off cause of covid and I want to fix my suburban. It's my baby, I've had it for almost 20 years and it's also my tow rig. Any advice is well good or bad news I just need this thing running again. Thank you .
