I have a 1999 suburban that wouldn't start and after messing with it I finally took it in today. I has been driven the past year with no catalytic converters and the shop I just took it is saying g it won't start because of that. Is that a possiblity? I've never heard of no cats causing a no start

 

My 99 wouldnt start the other day. Got a tow to a shop. Then it fired right up. Lol
