So the door latches but remains partially open (1/2"). It seems like it should close further and possibly latch a second time. Not sure what is going on here. Any ideas are appreciated before I dig into it and "fix" the latch. Thanks

 

Bad hinge pins and bushings. I bought them from advanced auto and they were not an exact fit. I got them in there and the bushings broke up quickly and it is doing the same thing. I shoot the hinge and latch with lubricant and slam it for now.
