Howdy folks...I have a 2000 Chevy Cavalier, 2.2. The air when I turn on the air conditioner blows warm to hot. I don't seem to have a leak on the freon and the gauges read good.

However, I'm getting warm air out of the vents. Also, when I move the **** that changes the air blend (recirc, vents, vent/feet, defrost, etc), absolutely NOTHING changes.

I know there are some mode actuators that require taking the whole dashboard out, including the IC carrier. That's a lot of work to get to the actuators. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

For anybody that experiences this, check to be sure the vaccum hose that connects to the throttle body is indeed connected! What a difference having vacuum to the A/C system makes!
