I have a 2000 K2500 With the 5.7 Vortec, I just installed new or reman heads. Well after install the motor would not crank, I had the rocker too tight. I readjusted the valves and with no valve covers, accessories and the exhaust not connected to the manifolds it ran fine. I buttoned everything up and it will not start. While cranking there is a sort of knock or hitting coming from the engine. Im alone with no remote starter so i could not hear it from outside the cab. There was no damage to the valve covers either before install. I also changed the oil before i tired to start it but after it had already ran
