I've got a 2000 Chevy Silverado with the 5.3L. On my way home today it started to cut out leaving a red light and i couldnt get over 30mph without it wanting to stall. This got me about a mile to the closest parking lot. I didnt have any tools with me so with what i could do without anything i checked. I can hear the fuel pump turn on, and the only code it's throwing is a evap code that ive had for a few months with no real issues (i checked when i got it towed home). It will start and idle rough for about 20-25sec but wil immediately sputter and stall if i touch the throttle. i replaced the fuel pressure regulator last year. Im going to start in the morning with checking for proper fuel pressure but im not sure what else to check from there, provided its within spec. Any suggestions???

 

I have the same issue with my 2001 suburban 6.0L.... What was the resolution?
