Default 2004 Cavalier clutch issue

Hello , I just received a 2004 Cavalier that the clutch is not working. I was told by a guy that it needs to be bled, but it is easier to simply replace the clutch master slave cylinder rather than bleed the old one. I would like to know the location of the clutch master slave cylinder and hope that someone can provide information on replacement and maybe a picture of this item and location. That way I don't waste a bunch of time fumbling around under the hood.

the slave is called the clutch actuator cylinder and its in the transmission next to the release bearing. you can release the hydraulic line without removing the trans but to replace the cylinder trans must come out.

I am replacing the Clutch Master Cylinder, it is not inside the transmission it hooks to the clutch pedal. I was asking for information and diagrams but believe that I have found everything and am almost complete.

the clutch master cylinder located on the firewall creates the pressure to move the slave cylinder located on or in the transmission.
master commands the slave hence the name.
