I am attempting to smog but keep getting a p0496 purge code, I found a leak in the rubber hose that went from the valve cover baffle to the intake manifold and replaced the canister vent solenoid by the gas take. Still getting code. Would it worth the try to replace the purge solenoid?

 

I would try an evap vent valve.
