Default 2005 Tahoe not blowing cold AC problem resurfacing…

I have a 2005 Tahoe. The ac went out a couple years ago and didn’t get it fixed until last year. Came out to $1900, got the compressor and temp actuator replaced among other things. It worked all last summer and winter but when summer came around (2022) the ac only blew cold air for about 2 weeks. It still blows strong but no cold air at all. What do I do? Not trying to spend that kind of money again. Not sure is this is model/generation specific.

I looked up a video on how to do it yesterday, after a bit of research, I learned that Chevy did not put air filters in models 2003 and up. Mine does not have a filter.

You can add a cabin air filter, but it takes some work as you'll see in this vid, My 1998 Chevy K-1500 4x4 pickup has no way to add a filter, but my A/C works fine.

.

I recently changed the cabin air filter on my 2015 Chevy Malibu. I couldn't believe how dirty it was, and I changed it a few years ago.

All that said, I am an expert on auto air-conditioning. I'd have someone put a gauge set on it, and check the pressures. Let me know what you find out, as I can likely help you out.
