Default 2007 Yukon XL

How do I find out if my Yukon is the 1500 or a 2500? I need a rear differential and I believe the two are different.
Thanks for your help.

they are different. a 1500 uses a 6 lug semi-floating axle while the 2500 is full floating and has a 8 lug axle flange....so count the wheel lug nuts. post all the rpo codes starting with G and I tell you what the truck came with from factory.
