I just paid a local shop to replace the o ring on my oil pump tube on my ls 4.8. Picked it up from the shop and now i am experiencing an extended crank time before the engine will start. Never had an issue before the procedure was performed and I have drove this truck for 6 years. So far it has not failed to start but it has really got me worried. Anyone got any ideals on what may have happened? Thanks

No idea. But take it back to the shop and tell them. Shouldn't do that. Most likely it is something they (forgot) and they will realize it when you tell them what is wrong and do it free.
I've never done oil pan on your car. I assume you mean "an oil pickup tube inside the oil pan" (and have 0 idea why i'd ever replace one - never have in my life). Some truck models require moving allot around to get access to remove the oil pan, some do not. I can't say "what they might have done". Could just be a connector not plugged in that was moved.
