2011 Avalanch- no power to drivers door
Hello,
I have a 2011 Avalanche. NONE of the power accessories on the drivers door work no lights or anything on the driver's door. It is like a main ground wire is broken to the driver's door but there is nothing obviously wrong. Any thoughts on what might be wrong or where to start looking? No dead batteries recently. It did happen about the time it was plugged into a different trailer for the first time, but that may be coincidental.
good luck -jim

I think if you open up the sheathing on the wire harness that travels between the door and the body, you will find that the wires in the harness are broken. You can push different buttons on the door panel with the key turned to the on position, and move the harness around and see if stuff starts to work.
