Default 2012 Impala LT w? 16,000 miles

Hello,

I am the original owner of a 2012 Impala with 16,000 miles on it. In terms of maintenance, what should be done to the vehicle? I am on my way in a few minutes to get the radiator fluid flushed and changed, and also am replacing the thermostat. Are there any other fluids that would be recommended to be changed? And by the way, when we drive the car, we love it! Thank you, John Attila

2012 SUPER low miles - has this car been sitting unused for years, or just very little sporadic driving?

very little driving. I just flushed and changed the radiator fluid. Also changed the thermostat. I have changed the oil at least annually and just put on brand new tires. (The ones I replaced still appeared new). I guess my primary? is the need to change transmission and differential fluids? I try to start it every month and drive it some. I need to be better at that. My goal is to keep it drivable so there are no surprises when the car is used. Another ? would be belt replacement needs. Thanks for any opinions or suggestions.

Fluids, belts, hoses, tires would be things that degrade over the years. Running it up to full operating temp every couple weeks is one of the best things you can do for your old friend. Let's see a pic of your Impala!

yes, I have an owners manual. As you know, a maintenance schedule is mileage based so I was digging for suggestions that would be based on the excessive years of minimal driving. Belts, fluids, etc. thank you.

Just out of curiosity, was the car sitting outside or in a garage?
