my 2014 Silverado LT, 5.3 v8 wouldn't start--multiple clicks, anti-theft 'dismiss' popped up. generally sounded like the battery needed a charge--then the notice to charge the battery came up next. Jumped the truck, it started right away. the battery is original AC DELCO from 2014, so going on 4 years--might need to change the battery. Not sure if the previous notes on bad ignition switch or somehow the theft deterrent system is failing--assume this will happen again, might need to go to dealer?
