2015 Tahoe making strange noise on startup
Hello, I have a 2015 chevy tahoe LT which started making a noise on startup. I noticed it makes the noise when the RPM are going down and I have to wait about 15 min before starts for the car to make the noise again. I turned off the radio and AC and it still makes the noise. Do you need a new serpentine belt? Check it for small cracks, that could be the noise. It could also be your tensioner making the noise. An easy trick is to take a screwdriver, place the tip on the tensioner and put the plastic to your ear. This makes it easy to pinpoint problems.
