i'd like a step by step explanation of how to change rings in a 292. the engine is in a 1980 chevy c-50.

 

if your changing the rings you might as well rebuild the engine. in order to change rings you have to tare down the over half the engine to do it, and that's with the right tools. Besides if your rings are gone, chance's the cylinder walls need to be honed as well. Then i'm sure you'll find some bearings that need changing. And possibly a few other things will need to be change as well.
